Resilience USA Academy is the community learning initiative of Resilience USA Foundation Inc. Through youth enrichment, adult learning, family engagement, and resource guidance, the Academy connects practical skills with community participation in Queens, New York.

Resilience Youth Academy
Enrichment activities help children and young people practice communication, creativity, teamwork, and responsible participation.
Wellness & Movement: Youth walk/run events, healthy movement, teamwork, and family participation.
Art & Storytelling: Drawing, painting, storytelling, creative projects, and opportunities to share work.
Academic Confidence: Reading, writing, study habits, presentation practice, and school-readiness encouragement.
Social-Emotional Resilience: Emotional literacy, respectful communication, kindness, anti-bullying awareness, and identifying trusted adults.
Leadership & Service Learning: Public speaking, community projects, volunteer activities, and civic awareness.
Digital Learning: Computer basics, typing, online safety, digital storytelling, and introductory technology activities.
College, Career & Life Readiness: Goal-setting, interview confidence, resume awareness, career exploration, and professional communication.
Family & Adult Learning
Learning opportunities support practical confidence at home, at work, and in the community.
Parent & Family Empowerment: Family learning, school-readiness information, communication, and community resources.
Digital Literacy: Computer and smartphone basics, email, online forms, digital safety, and video meetings.
Workforce Readiness: Resume and cover letter preparation, job-search skills, interview practice, and workplace communication.
Financial Wellness Awareness: Budgeting, saving, responsible spending, banking, and credit education.
Immigrant & New American Support: Community orientation, language confidence, civic awareness, cultural connection, and referral information.
Senior & Intergenerational Engagement: Storytelling, digital confidence, wellness awareness, and activities that connect generations.

Who Can Participate
Children, youth, parents, adults, older adults, and immigrant families are invited to inquire. Activities are organized by age group, learning needs, and available capacity.
How Programs Are Delivered
Offerings include small-group classes, workshops, short program series, family sessions, community events, and service activities. Session announcements explain the schedule, topic, participation requirements, and available places.
Access & Participation
Free and sponsored opportunities help expand access. Availability and any participation costs are confirmed for each session before registration.
Youth participation may require parent or guardian consent, emergency contacts, and pickup arrangements. Families should discuss relevant participation needs and safety concerns with our team before attending.

The Academy provides community education and enrichment. Recognition certificates, when offered, acknowledge participation or service and do not confer professional licensure.
